Plain Sinatra and Martin Balsam are lieutenants on the team of police examining engine vehicle hack shops which lead them to a more extensive examination of the crowd. After the homicide of one of their own, the cops choose to take equity into their hands, regardless of where that dim street takes them. Area recording in New York takes Sinatra into Studio 54 and the reserved alcove of a Jewish store, which improves the climate of this procedural/thriller. Incredible exhibitions from the squad room cops and the swarm characters including Jay Black, Verna Bloom, Joe De Santis, Martin Gabel, Harry Guardino, James Luisi, Michael Nouri, Marco St. John, Henry Silva, Richard Ward and Johnny Barnes keep this story moving at rapid. Composed by two-time Academy Award(r) champ Edward Anhalt (Best Writing, Motion Picture Story, Panic in the Streets, 1950), (Best Writing, Screenplay Based on Material from Another Medium, Becket, 1964), from a novel by Philip Rosenberg and steered by William A. Graham. Recently remastered.
